Bridget Murphy Gutzmer, DPT

Physical Therapist

Ms. Gutzmer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1990. Since then she has worked in a variety of settings including outpatient, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care with the emphasis on neuroscience intensive care. She has lectured on balance issues after TBI and on physical therapy for low level TBI patients at regional conferences. She previously was an officer in the Virginia Physical Therapy Association. Ms. Gutzmer continues to teach classes at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Physical Therapy for intensive care lines and leads, for casting for neurologically involved patients, and for clinical integration of evaluation findings in the complex neurological patient.

At TOLS, Ms. Gutzmer provides skilled and functional Physical Therapy Services to clients in their living environment, in the gym, and in the community. Her goals focus on optimal functional improvement for home, community, and/or vocational pursuits.
