Nanci Simmons, SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Ms. Simmons graduated with a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology from the University of South Carolina and has a B.S. in Communication Disorders. She has extensive professional work experiences in a variety of therapeutic settings that include inpatient and outpatient hospital and rehabilitation centers, home health care, and specialty school centers. Ms. Simon’s experience with the TBI population was further developed when employed by the McGuire Research Institute to treat TBI patients at the V.A. Center in Richmond from 2004-2007. In 2006 she achieved certification as a Brain Injury Specialist from CIBA. She is an active member of the Speech and Hearing Association of Virginia.

Ms. Simmons joined the TOLS therapy team as the second SLP in 2008 and provides additional services to our clients, both in the home and in the community.
