Who we serve

We specialize in serving people with Acquired Brain Injury due to:

  • Trauma
  • Hypoxia/Anoxia
  • Electrical Shock or Lightening Strikes
  • Strokes, AVMs and/or Aneurysms
  • Infectious Diseases
  • Tumors
  • Toxic exposure

Our program is designed for persons with acquired brain injury, who are 18 or older, and who meet our admissions criteria (medical, behavioral and financial)

We will also consider admission of persons with acquired brain injury who meet one or both of the the following criteria:

  • Status post mild brain injury/concussion with persistent/disabling real or claimed post-concussive disorder symptoms
  • Status post presumptive traumatic brain injury where the diagnosis of brain injury as the cause of the client’s current symptoms/signs is in question and a more thorough work-up is deemed necessary to identify the appropriate diagnosis, treatment and/or prognosis including ability to return to gainful employment

We also provide services for individuals with dual diagnoses of acquired brain injury and:

  • chronic pain including headache
  • spinal cord injury
  • neurobehavioral problems
  • somatoform (conversion) disorder
